Looking for a few good books

I am about to wrap up my current book and am looking for suggestions for a new one to read. What have you read recently that you think I'd enjoy?

It can be fiction, self-help, business management, cooking, leadership training, developing creativity... whatever. Let me know your suggestion and why I should consider it.

Howdy! I can't even remember how I ran across the blog, but I lurve it!

I'm a confessed bibliophile- so when someone asks for book recommendations I usually have a few to offer:

Captivating by Stasi Eldredge
An illuminating look at feminine beauty, healing the feminine soul, and expressing true femininity.

Any of Jan Karon's book
Great fiction about a small town Episcopal priest. Once you read the first one, you'll be hooked!

The Beekeeper's Apprentice by Laurie R. King
A continuation of the Sherlock Holmes saga, written from the perspective of a young woman who is every bit as clever and tenacious as Holmes himself.

God's Politics by Jim Wallis
Because not every Christian is a Republican...

The Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella
Funny, brilliant, and a great read.

The Lord of the Rings by Tolkein
Because the story is SO BIG!

Every Man's Battle by Arterburn & Stoeker
This is something that every church should talk about but doesn't
